Text Message BioI am no longer with WBUL at Tampa. That happened at the beginning of February. I decided to hold off until after school was done to go elsewhere. Well, school is done so I'll see where I go from there. Pretty much everything else in this Bio is old news and no longer applies but I'll just too lazy to clean it all up.
I moved from Pensacola, Florida to Tampa Florida a few years ago. I am now a DJ and the Extreme Music (Metal/Hard Rock/Hardcore) Coordinator at WBUL at the University of South Florida in Tampa. I am pretty good about adding people and I do promote local bands on my show. Of course I am partial to The Wester I-4 Coridor Tampa/Orlando area and my former home in Pensacola.
Well guys, I am now the Extreme Music Coordinator at WBUL. I am dedicated to keeping metal music in Tampa. In this new Metal Renaissance, it seems unbelievable to me that the pit should once again disappear from 98Rock. (Is it still there? I tuned in a couple of times--it wasn't there---and I just gave up). More unimaginable still is that Metal Masters should need to shrink its show to just a half hour for whatever reason (we want an hour!!!!). Avenged Sevenfold has broken through to regular rock radio (good for them - heavy rotation on 98rock - every 2 hours). It will not be long before others follow. As long as I am at the station, we will be broadcasting metal live from the home of American Death Metal, Tampa, Florida (of course we play other types of music too during other shows: ie world, urban, goth, jazz, alternative, etc.).

Metal, Metal, Metal, Rock and more Metal--yeah, that's pretty much my show. I am still not completely settled on a name, so if you have an idea let me know. Here's how my playlists go: I have to do 10 rotation songs - these I can choose from my rotation shelf, but these have to be played - no execeptions. The rest of the time is filled with Metal, Hard Rock, and occasionally something else. I do take some requests so go ahead. If you want to know exactly what I play check out the Playlists in the blog.
